All lined pipe work will have their flare face covered with either wooden or plastic covers. These covers are not to be removed except at the time of installation. In case inspection is carried out at site, on receiving the material the end covers are to be immediately placed back after inspection is completed. Failure to do this may result in damage or deformation of the flare face.
